The MiniGadget is a budget Android tablet which are just great for internet browsing, music, movies and books on the go or just round the house. If you are after just these functions then there is no need to buy a more expensive Tablet computer. Of course you get access to the Android market place for all your apps and games and accessories.

MiniGadget MG638 Screen

Let’s take a look at the screen of this thing. It has a 7 inch screen so the form of this tablet is smaller than some. But this does make it better for carrying around and it is also easier to view in portrait mode than a wider machine. And some apps and books are better in portrait mode. It has the g-sensor as well so like an I-PAD or phone the screen will turn when the device is turned.

The screen resolution is 800 x 480 which on a 7 inch screen is a great resolution and very sharp and vibrant.

We found the touch screen to be very responsive and reacted well to our pokes and swipes and were quite happy zipping round web pages and photos with ease. Some of the cheaper tablets can have troubles with the touch screen but he MiniGadget MG638 was the exception here.

Customer Testimonials.

There are some great testimonials for this tablet out there. Mainly because of the cheap price and great functionality. It really is a great buy at this price.

Really good value for money, very happy with purchase. I wasn’t sure what to expect for the price, but it works really well. There’s loads of apps to choose from and it’s easy to use to get online and browse the internet, watch You Tube etc. Warning – playing Angry Birds is addictive!  - Barbie22646 – form Amazon.com

The screen is good, its pretty sensitive and you can easily scroll up and down and ‘swipe’ through pages or pictures etc. I like the Android OS, it’s easy to use and it supports Flash which is good for watching videos…I use it for travelling as it’s handy for music, videos, sending the odd email and I’ve also used it as an ebook reader. The battery life is fine….Overall I’m really happy with it for what I paid, I didn’t want to spend hundreds on an Ipad and this is obviously not quite an Ipad, but at about a sixth of the price, I think it’s really good value and does exactly what I need it to. – Berniel – Amazon.com
